This paper explores the humanization of society and moral ideas in the philosophical legacy of Al-Farabi. In the context of globalization, rapid social transformation, and increasing intercultural interaction, modern society faces serious challenges, including the decline of spiritual and moral values. The aim of this study is to analyze the relevance of Al-Farabi’s humanistic ideas for contemporary social development and to demonstrate their importance in shaping ethical social relations.

The research focuses on the philosophical concept of the “Virtuous City,” which represents an ideal model of society based on justice, mutual assistance, and moral perfection. The study examines the structure of society, the role of the state, and the importance of ethical leadership in achieving human happiness. Special attention is given to the internal and external functions of the state, including the promotion of education, moral development, and social justice.

Methodologically, the research is based on comparative, historical, and philosophical analysis. The ideas of Al-Farabi are examined in relation to classical philosophical traditions, particularly those of Plato and Aristotle, as well as within the broader context of Islamic philosophy.

The results of the study show that Al-Farabi’s ideas remain highly relevant in addressing modern social and ethical challenges. His emphasis on moral values, education, and social harmony provides a strong foundation for the development of a humane and sustainable society.

In conclusion, the humanistic principles found in Al-Farabi’s works can serve as a guiding framework for contemporary social development, promoting justice, ethical governance, and the well-being of individuals and society as a whole.
